Two Strike: A Sioux Warrior

Two Strike: A Sioux Warrior

Author: Charles A. Eastman

Two Strike was a Sioux warrior well known among his people. Though he was shy, especially around pretty, young Indian maidens, he was a noted warrior.

As a youth he joined in a one-shot-to-kill buffalo hunt. In this contest a brave is allowed one arrow to shoot and kill a buffalo. This means riding directly into the herd so you can get close enough to fell a running buffalo with your only arrow. In one such contest, Two Strike was able to kill two buffalo with a single arrow, saving the life of his own father.

Read about this and other exciting adventures from Two Strike's life in this book.
